Seeking Pearls

It's very hard to put into words all that God has taught me about himself and his Word over the last 100 days. But, I do my best.

In the Bible's last chapters we see the consummation, completion, and perfection of all things. Come, Lord Jesus!

Revelation!!
As we go through the stunning text of Revelation, we will be focusing on descriptions of Jesus, as he reveals his glory and power to John the Apostle.

The letters of John and Jude give us strong warning about deceivers that are coming against the Church, trying to pull people away from Jesus. These words or warning are as meaningful for us today as they were then. Remain in Jesus. Hold fast to that which is true. And remember, the one who lives in you is strong that the one who is in the world.

James and Peter encourage the early Church (and us!) to suffer persecution with endurance and perseverance as they wait for the promised and certain return of Christ.

The Letter to the Hebrews gives us beautiful and profound truths about Jesus. He brings us a new and better covenant, new and better promises, and the Kingdom that can never be shaken.

In this pastoral letters, Paul gives encouragement to his fellow church leaders. While some of the teaching in these letters is very complicated, they also include gorgeous truths and explanations of Jesus and his gospel.

As Paul communicates and encourages the early Church, we learn tremendous truths about Jesus, what it means to live in the Kingdom, and how to love God and each other.

Galatians and Ephesians proclaim the righteousness of Jesus, the promises of adoption into God's family, and the mystery of the unity of the Church.

2 Corinthians is a gorgeous letter! In it we learn about the suffering and persecution that Paul endured, and how through it all he was lifting up the life of Jesus.
